This landmark New York restaurant decorated with interesting photos from historical New York and family photos and a beautiful, dark rich wood bar area. Carmine’s serves up fantastic, old school style dishes to their loyal guests and first-time visitors (who will soon become a loyal guest), including their super large portions of homemade Lasagna, Rigatoni with Sausage & Broccoli, Chicken Parmigiana, Ravioli with Cheese, or any of their great pasta dishes.
The Spaghetti and Meatballs dish at Carmine’s is the best and a ‘can’t miss.’ Their sauce is the perfect texture and not too tangy. The giant meatballs are seasoned to perfection. Carmine’s is generous with the free, and delicious garlic bread.
For dessert, which you will not likely have room for, is also, delicious and worthy of the ‘too big’ tag. Recommended dessert dishes are Carmine’s Italian Cheesecake, Chocolate Cannoli’s and the Tiramisu is not to be skipped.
